Draft business terms for review. The revisions, timeline, and refund sections are proposals, not policies you have approved yet.
Services and pricing
Our standard website package costs $300 total and includes up to three pages, mobile-friendly design, and registration of one standard available domain for the first year. Premium domains, third-party subscriptions, paid integrations, hosting outside the agreed setup, and additional work require a separate quote and your approval.
Payments
After Briarmark confirms your project scope in writing, a $150 deposit starts the project. The remaining $150 is due after you review and approve the finished design and before publication. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
Revisions and timing — proposed policy
PROPOSED — CONFIRM BEFORE PUBLISHING: Two rounds of reasonable revisions to the agreed website scope are included. We aim to deliver an initial draft within 7–14 business days after receiving the deposit and all necessary content. This is an estimate, not a guarantee; delays in customer materials, revisions, domain availability, or external services may change timing. Significant scope changes require a separate quote.
Refunds and cancellations — proposed policy
PROPOSED — CONFIRM BEFORE PUBLISHING: Before design work begins, a customer may request cancellation and a refund of the deposit, less any nonrefundable third-party costs they explicitly approved. Once work begins, refunds of the deposit are evaluated based on work completed and applicable law; no blanket “nonrefundable under all circumstances” rule applies. If Briarmark cannot provide the agreed service, contact us for a resolution or applicable refund. Nothing in these terms limits rights under applicable law.
Ownership and domain
Once the agreed $300 website fee is paid, the client owns the final delivered site content and custom design created for the project, excluding third-party licensed materials, tools, and software. Briarmark will arrange for the domain to be registered in the client’s name or transferred to the client where supported. Domain renewal after the included first year is the client’s responsibility. The client keeps their website and domain if they decline or cancel maintenance; continued hosting may require a separate arrangement.
Optional website care
The optional maintenance plan costs $39.99 per month and includes website monitoring, routine maintenance, and up to two small content updates per month. A small update means a limited text, image, or contact-detail change on an existing page; new pages, redesigns, complex integrations, and major content work are quoted separately. Unused updates do not roll over. Hosting and third-party fees are not included unless agreed separately.
Canceling maintenance
Customers can cancel through the Stripe billing portal or contact briarmarkstudio@gmail.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period and stops future renewals. Partial-month refunds are not automatically issued, subject to applicable law and any individual agreement. Cancellation does not transfer away ownership of the website or domain.
Customer materials and approvals
Clients are responsible for providing accurate business information, content, and rights to images and logos they supply. Briarmark will request approval before publishing the website. Any specific delivery date or extra feature should be confirmed in writing.
